Kansas Bioidentical Hormone Doctor, James Mirabile, MD is well respected among patients and colleagues in the Johnson County and Kansas City metro area for his work in obstetrics, gynecology, bio-identical hormone therapy, medical cosmetics and medical weight loss. Nationally, Dr. Mirabile is known as a pioneer in cosmetic laser treatments. Dr. Mirabile was on the forefront of laser technology in the 1990’s and has trained thousands of doctors around the country on laser treatments and incorporating non-surgical cosmetics into their practice.

Since opening MedCosmetic in 1999, Dr. Mirabile and his team have offered patients effective, non-surgical cosmetic treatments for many common skin conditions.

 

Dr. Mirabile founded For Women Only in 1993 providing obstetrics and gynecology in a professional, friendly atmosphere. After delivering over 7,500 babies, Dr. Mirabile retired from Obstetrics and concentrates his areas of expertise in Gynecology including bio-identical hormone therapy to treat peri-menopausal and menopausal women.

In 2010, Dr. Mirabile added Medi-Weightloss Clinics to his practice helping men and women to achieve their goals of weight loss and overall health. This physician supervised weight loss program has phenomenal results.

Dr. Mirabile is listed as one of the “Top Physicians” in the United States by the Center for the Study of Services in Washington, DC. He has also been awarded the “Physician of the Decade Award”, voted upon by his peers, and listed in Squire Magazine. Dr. Mirabile’s peers have also consistently voted him “Top OB/GYN” since 1994. He is listed in the Kansas City Magazine 6 years in a row as one of the “SUPER DOCTOR’S” also voted upon by local peers.

Dr. Mirabile completed his undergraduate work at Creighton University and earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He trained in Chicago, Illinois at Mt. Sinai Hospital and St. Joseph Medical Center, an affiliate of Northwestern University.

When Dr. Mirabile is not seeing patients, he enjoys traveling with his wife Vicki and visiting their daughters Jovana, in London, and Nikki, in New York.

Bridget Webb joined Dr. Mirabile in 1996. Bridget attended the University of Kansas for her Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, then continued her education at Avila College and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996. Bridget decided to further her education in women’s health and graduated from University of Missouri – Kansas City in 1999 with her APRN and has happily practiced as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner with Dr. Mirabile ever since.

Bridget’s areas of expertise include well woman care, weight management programs, treatment of abnormal pap smears, and bio-identical hormone replacement.

 

When Bridget is not seeing patients she enjoys time with her husband and two sons, cooking, reading and exercising.

Betsy Stander received  her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washington Adventist University located in Maryland. Betsy recently obtained her Masters of Science from University of Missouri of Kansas City. Betsy has worked in women’s health care for 15 years including labor and delivery and gynecological surgery. She is married and a busy Mom of 5 boys. Betsy loves to cook and travel. She is also interested in crafts and enjoys scrapbooking.

Sandy Edwards APRN, started her undergraduate education at Kansas State University, then transferred to Washburn University in Topeka where she became an RN with her BSN.

She received her MSN at University of Missouri Kansas City(UMKC) in nursing education in 2002. She served as a Nursing Professor at UMKC and Johnson County Community College.

In 2007 She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at the University of Kansas Medical Center, then passed her certification boards as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

 

Sandy spent many years as an RN 1st assistant in gynecology, cardiac and neuro surgery. In 2012, Sandy began working in bio-identical hormone pellet therapy. She received training on various pellet therapy treatments including Sottopelle. Sandy joined Dr. Mirabile’s hormone therapy team in 2013. Sandy enjoys helping her pellet therapy patients return to a hormonal balance. When Sandy is not working she spends time with her three boys at KC Royals, KC Chiefs and KSU Wildcat games. She enjoys exercising, walking her dogs, and spending family time at the lake.
